Ok, so we wrapped the job for Nike on Monday in Sao Paulo, flew up to Mexico City over night, then I hopped a plane back to LA. Here's a note to self and those who are listening. Be sure and register your equipment thoroughly with customs when traveling internationally. I got reamed by the customs officer when coming back into the states. Luckily I had some of my gear listed, but apparently you're supposed to create a form specifically for the gear you're carrying on that trip when you leave the states. I "could have bought" something and brought it back across and would had to pay duties and taxes. A little overboard I know, but that's our government for you. Electronic gear is cheaper in the states anyways, why would I want to go overseas and purchase something that costs 50% more then pay even more taxes on it? Apparently US Customs does. Lesson learned.
